Syn Free Cauliflower Breakfast Muffins | Slimming World Recipe




Since breakfast is the best meal of the day.. try these delicious Syn free breakfast muffins. Just make sure you use the cheese from your Healthy Extra A allowance.

Ingredients:

(Makes around 12 small muffins)

1 Large Cauliflower
200g Tinned lean ham
Handful of Spinach
1/2 Finely chopped onion
5 Eggs beaten
1/4 Tsp Garlic granules
30g Low fat grated Cheddar cheese
Pinch of salt
Ground Black pepper
1/4 Tsp Paprika
Frylight

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 180c and lightly spray a muffin tin with Frylight.
  • Cut the florets off of your cauliflower and add them to a food processor and blend. (Or grate if you don’t have a processor)
  • Finely cube your tinned ham, grate cheese and finely dice onion.
  • Add the beaten eggs, grated cheese and garlic powder to your cauliflower to mix together.
  • Fold in ham, onion, garlic, black pepper, paprika and spinach.
  • Fill each section around two thirds full and place into the oven for around 20-25 minutes until golden.

1 Syn Curly Wurly Brownies | Slimming World Recipe




I think everyone who is on Slimming World is always craving a sweet chocolate treat. Well I can highly recommend these Curly Wurly Brownies. They are absolutely delicious and cut into 16 pieces this makes each section just 1 Syn. They make the perfect Easter treat or party food. Fab to take to your Slimming World meets too! Enjoy x

Ingredients:

3 Medium Eggs
50g Self raising flour (6 Syns)
Options caramel hot chocolate sachet (2 Syns)
2 Tsp Cocoa powder (1 Syn)
2 Tbsp of Sweetener
2 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 x 26g Curly Wurly (6 Syns)
2 Tbsp Quark
2 Tsp Water
Frylight

Method:

  • Spray a Brownie tin with Frylight to avoid sticking and preheat your oven to 180c.
  • Sift the flour into a bowl, and mix together with the Options sachet, sweetener and cocoa.
  • Crack 3 eggs into a bowl and beat well. Add the eggs gradually to the flour mixture and beat well. Add water and vanilla extract.
  • Fold in the quark and then pour the mixture into the baking tray.
  • Break up the Curly Wurly into small pieces and add this to the mixture dotted about evenly.
  • Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Leave to cool before slicing into 16 sections.

Syn Free Vanilla And Chocolate Ice Cream | Slimming World Recipe




If you are missing a delicious Ice cream treat on that warm summer’s day.. there really is an amazing Syn free alternative to the fattening stuff 🙂 This could also be made with a variety of other flavours.. You can use any Syn free Mullerlight yogurt. Check out our Mullerlight checker page to find out which ones are Syn free.

Ingredients:

2 Pots of Vanilla with chocolate Sprinkles Mullerlight yogurt
500g Fat free fromage frais
Sweetener to taste
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence

Method:

  • Mix together both pots of Mullerlight Yogurt and Fat free fromage frais.
  • Stir in your Vanilla Essence.
  • At this point.. taste your mixture and see if you feel it need’s any Sweetener. This really is a personal choice. I find that I just need to add 1/2 Tbsp.
  • Spoon your mixture into a covered tub and place into the freezer. Every 30 minutes remove from freezer and stir the mixture. This will prevent ice crystals from settling on the top. Do this until the mixture cannot be mixed anymore.

Other flavours to try:

Toffee (Use 2 pots of Toffee Mullerlight yogurt)
Banana (Use 2 pots of Banana Mullerlight yogurt and 1 whole banana chopped up)
Cherry (Use 2 pots of Cherry Mullerlight yogurt and some finely chopped cherries)

Syn Free Spaghetti Bolognese | Slimming World Recipe




A good old Spag Bol is one of my favourite Slimming World recipes because it’s totally Syn free and so filling. Also it’s great for a batch cook and perfect for reheating. This recipe will serve 3-4 people.

Ingredients:

500g Lean 5% Beef mince
3 Large mushroom
1 Medium Onion
1 Red pepper
1 Green pepper
2 Garlic cloves (or 2 Tsp garlic granules)
2 Beef stock cubes
1 Tsp Dried mixed herbs (or Oregano)
2 x 400g tins of chopped tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Frylight

Method:

– Finely chop onion, red pepper, green pepper and slice mushrooms.
– Spray a pan with Frylight, add mince and garlic and cook until mince is browned.
– Add peppers and onion and cook until softened.
– Add mushrooms, crushed stock cubes, dried mixed herbs, pinch of salt and pepper and chopped tomatoes.
– Cover with a lid and simmer on a medium heat for 25-30 minutes or a very low heat for 1 hour. Stir regularly.

Serve over Spaghetti, pasta or lots of Speed vegetables.

Syn Free Pea And Mint Soup | Slimming World Recipe




Ingredients:

1 Large onion
200g Potatoes
2 Garlic cloves
1.3 Litres vegetable stock
400g Frozen peas
10g Fresh mint
Salt and pepper
Frylight

Method:

  • Finely chop onion and peel potatoes and finely cube.
  • Spray a little Frylight into a pan and cook onion until softened.
  • Add potatoes, garlic and stock. Bring to boil and simmer for 25 minutes.
  • Add the peas and mint to the mixture and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and use a food processor or hand blender to whizz until smooth and serve.

This can be stored in the fridge and reheated.

When I cook I always substitute oil with Frylight 1 Cal Spray. This spray is Syn free and it’s a HUGE healthy alternative to oil. I find the cheapest place to purchase this from is Home Bargains as its always on offer at around £1.45. But often it’s on offer in Iceland and other Supermarkets.

Syn Free Butternut Squash Soup | Slimming World Recipe




I love soup, so this Syn free soup is an amazing lunch, dinner or snack. Delicious!

Ingredients:

1 Onion
1 Medium Butternut squash
1 Potato
2 Garlic cloves
900ml Vegetable stock
Salt and pepper
Frylight

Method:

  • Finely chop onion.
  • Peel and de seed Butternut and cut into chunks.
  • Peel potato and cut into small cubes.
  • Spray a pan with Frylight and cook onion for a few minutes until softened.
  • Add Butternut and potato and cook for a further few minutes.
  • Add crushed garlic, salt and pepper seasoning and stock.
  • Simmer on a medium heat stirring often for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from eat and use a food processor or hand blender to blend until smooth.

Can be stored in the fridge and re heated.
