How much weight can I really lose following Slimming World?
This really depends on many different factors. Including how much effort you put into your weight loss journey. Slimming World is NOT a quick fix.. it is a lifestyle change! Most followers have a big loss on their first week but this is common when starting any healthy eating plan. However you can expect to lose 1 – 2lb per week if you follow the plan correctly. Remember everyones journey is different!
Can I really eat unlimited food and still use weight?
NO! Every food contains calories.. Food that is classed as “free” on Slimming World can be eaten until satisfied or full. This does not mean you can sit there scoffing pasta until you vomit.. this is not realistic.
Do I need to attend a weekly group to lose weight?
No, many people go it alone from home or use the online system offered by Slimming World and still have great losses. Weekly group is a great way to make new friends and experience extra motivation but it is not necessary.
How can I lose weight without counting calories?
Slimming World promise they have worked that out for you, so you can happily follow their plan without worrying about calories. Who needs the extra stress right?
Will I really not lose weight if I mash a banana?
NO! Slimming World seem to have an issue with people mashing bananas but a banana is the same amount of calories if you eat it whole or mash it! Obviously we always recommend following the plan 100% but I have never Synned a banana!
