This delicious easy to make sauce is an absolute staple for your fridge or freezer.

Batch Cook – Storage Information

  • Fridge: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Reheat: Reheat in the microwave or stir into cooked pasta. 
  • Freezer: Allow to cool before placing in a suitable containers. Keep for up to 3 months. Thaw before reheating.

Ingredients

  • 2 x 400g Tins Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • ½ tsp Dried Basil
  • ½ Onion [Peeled, finely diced]
  • 1 Garlic Clove [Crushed]
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Paprika

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a sauce pan, cover with a lid and simmer for 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Place into a food processor and blitz until smooth.
