Well Hello there lovely followers.. how are you doing? Things here are fabulous and I’d like to tell you why!
Do you remember my review of the fantastic Do the unthinkable meal plan back in March? Well I am at it again 🙂 A few weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely guys over at Do the unthinkable but this time they asked if I fancied going for the full 90 day plan!! I have seen this work out well for the lovely Josie Gibson (Big Brother) so of course I jumped at the chance!!
My only condition was that MrFatgirlskinny was allowed to join me on the 90 day challenge too. Because we help to motivate each other! So Monday morning we embarked on our new lifestyle and we both feel great!
I have once again decided to follow the 5 day per week plan and stick with Slimming World for the remaining 2 days of the week. I will be the first to admit that I am struggling with my weight loss and especially with Slimming World lately. Maybe it’s my willpower or maybe it’s boredom.. but I needed a change and this has given me a new excitement for weight loss again.
So how does it work?
Every single meal is sent to you.. You don’t have to worry about anything at all.
- Mid morning snack
- Mid afternoon snack
- Evening meal
- Evening snack
Yes really you can eat all of that and still lose weight! You can even add a certain portion of fresh fruit, vegetables, rice and yogurt per week if you find that you need it. The only thing I added most days was a handful of Spinach (because I just love the stuff).
Because I am so busy at the moment with house renovations and other commitments I am struggling to stick with Slimming World. I don’t have the time to create meals from scratch every night or create new ideas to keep us interested. I find I am eating the same thing over and over again and this ends up resulting in the Just Eat app being used. (Come on we all do it!). The reason I love Do the unthinkable is because it is all done for me.. my meals are sent directly to my door and I don’t have to think about what to eat mid week! This allows me more time to concentrate on creating new recipes at the weekends.
Following my last review (read it here) a LOT of people signed up with Do the unthinkable and are loving it. But I did hear some negatives about the cost too.. Yes it is not hugely cheap… But here is my theory…
I don’t need to go shopping.. there is no temptation to buy things I don’t need which means I would definitely spend less. Also not shopping means I don’t buy things I will end up snacking on when I am bored too!
I am not saying this mean plan is for everyone but it does work for me and in my first 5 days I have lost a whopping 7lb!
Thankfully all of the food is delicious and there are so many different things to try each week. I have tried many diet plans in the past where the food was literally inedible.. thankfully this is not the case.
