Best Unofficial Slimming World Recipes of 2022

With everything from creamy pastas to pizza and beyond, these unofficial Slimming World recipes will hopefully get you excited to cook (and eat!) something new.

To kick off the New Year, I’ve rounded up my top favourite recipes. This list includes everything from hearty dinner recipes (think creamy pastas, pizza, fajitas, etc.) to hearty warming soups that will keep you full for longer. Whether you’re a longtime Slimming World follower, New to healthy eating, on a calorie controlled diet or just need some inspiration, you’re sure to love one (or more) of these delicious recipes!




1. Chicken Tikka Masala

This is a classic Indian dish that’s very popular amongst novice Indian food eaters. Estimated as Syn Free when following the Slimming World plan but that doesn’t mean it loses any of the authentic taste. 




2. Chicken and Bacon Pasta

3. Mexican Chicken Fajitas

This delicious recipe has been tried and tested week after week, making the best homemade unofficial Slimming World friendly pizza. My family now prefers my homemade pizza to takeaway.




7. Butternut Squash Soup

11. Rustic Bacon Mac & Cheese

This creamy, cheesy, unofficial Slimming World rustic Mac and Cheese will outshine any Mac and Cheese you have tried before. With added bacon pieces it adds to the flavour and it is very simple to create. Estimated as Syn Free when following the Slimming World plan




12. Scotch Eggs

The Scotch Egg, a perfect British snack, a picnic or even breakfast! Estimated as Syn Free when following the Slimming World plan. Make with the kids or surprise them by popping it in their lunch box! 




13. BBQ Pulled Pork Loaded Fries

This is a mouthwatering, easy meal that the whole family will love! Crispy baked French Fries loaded with smoky pulled BBQ pork. 




14. Cheesy Chicken Pasta Bake

    Hi, on the chicken tikka masala it states 4 tbsp of tikka spice. Is this correct or should it read 4 tsp? I’d love to do this recipe but thought that 4 tablespoons seemed rather a lot
